Mainframe to produce 2D-animated series The Guava Juice Show

Exciting news for our studio! As announced by YouTube Originals, Mainframe Studios and Studio71 have partnered with YouTube sensation Roi Fabito to produce Mainframe’s first 2D-animated series, The Guava Juice Show.

This premium series focuses on Roi’s adventures in his magical universe-hopping bathtub with his best friends Guava–a walking, talking guava fruit–and Jenny, a powerful teenage girl. The show will build on the appeal of Roi’s blockbuster (16.5 million subscriber) Guava Juice channel on YouTube.

Mainframe’s SVP Content Gregory Little developed the show and will executive produce along with Mainframe’s President & CCO Michael Hefferon, and our partners at Studio71.

Man of Action Entertainment, the American writer collective behind Ben 10, has been brought onto the project to write and develop.
The new show will include adaptations of four stand-alone Scholastic books along with an original story from Man of Action.

Mainframe’s WFH shift is making headlines

During the COVID-19 crisis, many businesses had to rapidly shift to a Work-From-Home model. Animation Magazine penned an excellent article about Mainframe’s speedy transition to this now essential production model during the current situation. While the shift took less than a week, the plans behind it were years in the making – plans which included our unique Global Studio Pipeline, allowing synchronized collaboration between partner studios regardless of distance.

We want to use this space to share the article and publicly acknowledge our team and everyone involved in the amazing effort to adapt to this challenge and keep our studio open for business. You can read the full article here.
